I have taken off the Montana State page until I can get a more accurate listing of gangs active in that state. Since I've been doing my website, I've got very little help with Montana gangs. It appears these words hold true as the gang violence continues this week in the Northwest. Last night in Sunnyside a 17-year old male identified to me as, Freddy was shot and killed by suspected Surenos 13 gang members. So far I've heard he was not a gang member, but the person he was with had possible connections to Nortenos 14. This is Sunnyside's 1st homicide of 2011, but the 10th in Yakima County (not including the police involved shootings). Also on Wednesday night Seattle police responded to the corner of Rainier Avenue & Cloverdale, which is pretty much ground zero for the South End gangs such as Dale Block, DWTC, Hoovers. One man was shot twice in the chest with a uzi style weapon. Reports said Central District gang members were seen in the area flashing gang signs shortly before the shooting. Last but not least I drove around Seattle today, and found several good "Callejones Escondidos 13" taggings. They are all posted on my Flickr page. Just last night a Florencia 13 gang member, street name "Cartoon" was gunned down in Walla Walla, WA. Also there were homicides in Woodburn, OR and Portland, OR, both look like they were gang-related... It's been keeping me busy, I'll update the RIP deaths soon. Be Safe! -Brad It's been awhile since my last update, so I thought I better get on here and do one. I was in Yakima last week and it was looking clean, I found few gang tags. The ones I did find are posted on my Flickr page (link below). Things still seem to be pretty quiet around the Northwest, with the exception of some shootings in Yakima County and Portland.
